LVMPD provides access to public records pursuant to Nevada’s Public Records Act (Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 239). Please note that a request for data or a database is NOT a public records request and the Department is not required to organize data to create a record that does not exist at the time of the request. A request should be for an identifiable record and will be handled as expeditiously as possible. Record(s) that are not readily available or voluminous may require payment for the cost to research and/or redact confidential information.
